Volleyball Victoria Schools Cup | Seniors Results 2024

Earlier this term, Mazenod had three teams and 34 students compete in the Volleyball Victoria three-day Schools Cup senior event:

✔️ Open Honours Boys: Finished 4th after a tough five-set match against Maribyrnong Sports Academy.
✔️ Year 10 Division 1 Boys: Won bronze with Joedan Davis named division MVP.
✔️ Year 10 Honours Boys: Won gold in an incredible comeback, now top seed for the Nationals in December.

To finish off the States campaign, the results from across the board are tallied to award Champion school for boys, girls and overall, with Mazenod College taking out the Champion boys’ school. This is a credit to all the hard work in the first half of the year by all the players, coaches, and staff to be able to prepare the teams to play at such a high level.

Next up, we prepare for the Australian Volleyball Schools Cup in Queensland this December. Congratulations to all our teams!
