Now More Than Ever | #NRW2024

National Reconciliation Week’s theme for 2024, Now More Than Ever, is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people must continue.

During Friday's College assembly proceedings, we were honoured to have local Bunurong artist, Adam Magennis, perform a Welcome to Country including an encapsulating smoking ceremony for staff and student leaders, prior to the official launch of Mazenod College's Reconciliation Action Plan.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we learn, the Bunurong People of the Kulin Nation, and continue our commitment to working in partnership to establish a future of reconciliation and shared story, now more than ever.
