Mission Action Day 2013

4 March 2013

One of the great Mazenod College traditions, going back to many years, is raising funds for the less well off, particularly in the Developing World. This has been the focus of our Annual Mission Action Day which is being held on 28th March 2013. It expresses in concrete terms our belief in the dignity of all, and the commitment to work for a just society. The funds raised on this day, will reach families in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and India. In each and every case, the Oblates ensure that the money reaches the intended recipients.

As this is the College’s one big appeal for the Oblate work in the Third World, each family is asked to support the day with a sponsorship of at least $40.00. All students have been given sponsorship forms. All donations are tax deductable. However, in order for this to occur, students are required to return their sponsorship form to the College.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity and help and many thanks for the donations which we have received so far.
